The ATC is proud to have taken part in FEATS 2018.

And we're especially proud to have won the "Best Original Script" award with

ACCELERATED INTIMACY

Two complete strangers are stuck in a disabled New York City subway car. To pass the time and relieve the awkwardness, they decide to take a quiz in a discarded newspaper: a series of questions designed to “accelerate intimacy” between strangers. It's a premise both find mildly amusing -- okay, maybe a little intriguing. As good a remedy for boredom as anything else, right? Certainly nothing more than that…

FEATS 2018 took place in Antwerp 18-21 May, and was hosted by BATS Antwerp.

FEATS is ...

the Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies, an annual English Language theatre festival held in various cities all over the continent. English-language theatre groups from a variety of European cities come together over a long weekend to present short plays in competition. This has become a prestigious event, which now has so many entries that not every company can compete every year. The American Theatre Company enjoys being involved as often as possible, and is pleased to have won a number of awards over the years.
